Fate/Zero
Watching the trailer makes me even more excited about the anime! Want to guess who's doing the music? Read on for the answer.
If your answer is Kajiura Yuki then you're absolutely correct. It's pretty easy to recognise her musical style.
I've mentioned in my earlier post that the Fate/Zero anime is based on a series of light novels written by Urobuchi Gen. Before 2011, some people knew Urobuchi as one of the scenario writers for the visual novel company Nitroplus, and that he usually writes dark stories for them. But now, most anime fans know him as the guy who wrote the story for Puella Magi Madoka☆Magica, which Kajiura also composed the music for. If that is anything to go by, you can bet that Fate/Zero is going to be awesome.
The director of Fate/Zero is Aoki Ei, who directed the supernatural/action anime GA-REI -zero- (which was great, by the way) in 2008. While most of the cast members from the Fate/stay night anime will return to voice their respective characters in Fate/Zero, the animation will no longer be handled by Studio Deen, who has previously worked on the Fate/stay night TV series and the movie Unlimited Blade Works. This time, the animation will be done by the studio behind Kara no Kyoukai and Tales of Symphonia OVA, ufotable. Fate/Zero will start airing this October.
